NestOS User Guide
This document describes the installation, deployment, features, and usage of the NestOS cloud-based operating system. NestOS runs common container engines, such as Docker, iSula, PodMan, and CRI-O, and integrates technologies such as Ignition, rpm-ostree, OCI runtime, and SELinux. NestOS adopts the design principles of dual-system partitions, container technology, and cluster architecture. It can adapt to multiple basic running environments in cloud scenarios. In addition, NestOS optimizes Kubernetes and provides support for platforms such as OpenStack and oVirt for IaaS ecosystem construction. In terms of PaaS ecosystem construction, platforms such as OKD and Rancher are supported for easy deployment of clusters and secure running of large-scale containerized workloads.
