oeGitExt MCP Server User Guide ​

System Requirements ​

• openEuler 24.03-LTS-SP2 with a desktop
• oeGitExt installed and functioning properly
• roo-code installed. For details about installation and configuration, see the tutorial.

1. Installing the mcp-servers-oeGitExt Tool Package ​

sudo yum clean all && sudo yum makecache && sudo yum install -y mcp-servers-oeGitExt

2. Querying Issues Using Natural Language ​

• In VSCodium, click the roo-code icon in the left toolbar.

• Click the MCP Servers icon to view oeGitExt_mcp.

• Click > on the left of oeGitExt_mcp to view its details.

• Finish and return to the dialog box. Enter the following information in the input box at the bottom:

  View my issues in the openEuler community.

• Press Enter or click the send button. Then wait for a moment. roo-code will ask you to approve the use of the tool.

• After approval, roo-code will display the query results.
